My first year at Universal Orlando, I was assigned to the Jack Show — the event's flagship live entertainment experience built around HHN's iconic mascot, Jack the Clown. As an Event Set Dresser, I was responsible for the full lifecycle of decor for that production: reading scripts to identify required elements, pulling and transporting materials from the Universal warehouse, installing and securing all decor to Universal and OSHA standards, performing nightly maintenance throughout the run, and leading strike at close — transporting, organizing, documenting, and storing everything properly for the following year.
