2018 was my first year in the Decor Lead role, covering both Halloween Horror Nights and my first Mardi Gras event. As Decor Lead I took ownership of a crew of seven set dressing technicians, collaborating cross-departmentally with FX, Lighting, and Audio teams to execute complex designer requests. I worked directly with designers to build and maintain punchlists that kept each attraction on schedule, and led the warehouse team in the off-season to ensure all inventory was properly accounted for and maintained. Adding Mardi Gras to my scope this year marked the beginning of what would become an annual dual-event responsibility.
